The modernized version of the series is being shopped as half-hour episodes. Based on book series by creator Ann M. Martin, The Baby-Sitters Club is about a group of friends who live in the fictional town of Stoneybrook, Connecticut. The young group of girls run a local babysitting service called the “Baby-Sitters Club.” The books allowed the characters to confront a variety of common problems such as illness, jealousy, sibling rivalry, peer conflicts, and family issues.
